46 people were tested at the Marie Izmirlian Orphanage, 15 of whom were diagnosed with a new coronavirus infection. 9 are kids of the institution, 6 are employees. The RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Zaruhi Batoyan stated this in a Facebook post.
"Fortunately, any of them have no symptoms and feel well. They are not hospitalized. They are isolated in the institution where it is easier to provide child care. At the moment, the specialists and doctors are working in the orphanage. The area has been disinfected once more", the minister said in her Facebook post.
The Ministry spokeswoman Sona Martirosyan told 1lurer.am that the primary cause of the illness has not been determined yet, but fortunately none of the children have problems.
