At the beginning of today's government sitting, the Prime Minister expressed concern over the new cases of coronavirus infection. "We are not doing well", he said, noting that there were
335 new cases of coronavirus infection and total of 70 deaths.
The Prime Minister also mentioned that there is a widespread opinion among the public that the Government gives people money so that they agree to become patients - for receiving international assistance.
"Since the first case of the coronavirus infection, we have not provided any inaccurate information to the public, our government has not provided any manipulative information. The situation is more serious than we can imagine.
We must take strict measures to control the epidemic so that we do not have to go to extreme restrictive measures again", he said, adding. "At this stage, our strategy is as follows. We need to be able to set quarantine without quarantine”.
Pashinyan noted that the crisis management office and Police is moving to a more intensive mode of operation. "I noticed yesterday that neither customers nor drivers wear masks in taxis", the PM said, reminding that there is a mandatory requirement to wear a mask on public transport. He also called on not to spread false information.
