Today Arayik Harutyunyan has assumed the post of President of the Artsakh Republic, taking the oath on the 17th-century Gospel and the Constitution of Artsakh.
The fourth President of Artsakh vowed to unconditionally fulfill the requirements of the Constitution, respect human and civil rights and freedoms, preserve the sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity and security of the republic for the glory of the Artsakh Republic for the benefit of the people of Artsakh.
The new National Assembly of the 7th convocation, formed as a result of the national elections in Artsakh, today, assuming its powers, convened a special sitting in the hall of the Culture and Youth Center in Shushi on the occasion of assuming the post of President of the Artsakh Republic.
RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and RA NA Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan was present at the inauguration ceremony of the fourth President of the Artsakh Republic.
