Today speaking about the struggle against coronavirus live on Facebook, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that we have all faced a serious problem because we do not take the coronavirus seriously.
"Today, the average mortality rate in our country is lower than in May 2019. But that's not the point. The real problem is that if we do not break this rate, we will have 10,000 cases on May 29 and 20,000 on June 12, which means that our deaths will increase significantly because the resuscitation departments will be full of patients, and we simply will not be able to help people", said Pashinyan.
he mentioned that the majority of cases are asymptomatic and the worst thing they have it's a loss of smell and taste.
"If we do not break this dynamic, if we do not change the pace, we will face really serious problems, and tens, even hundreds of people will die every day. That means we will have to reintroduce the strictest restrictionsit's. But we have the opportunity not to do that. The individual responsibility of each of us is needed for that", said the Prime Minister.
He also told that had met people on the streets today who had walked the streets without masks and were not keeping social distance, as if nothing had happened.
