"It is clear to me that we will not be able to hold a referendum on this issue until May next year, but on the other hand we cannot wait. Therefore, nothing prevents us from coordinating our work with international partners in this situation and, if possible, finding consensual solutions”, stated Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at today's press conference.
He informed that Armenia has applied to the Venice Commission on this issue, to resolve the CC crisis in parliament. Stressed - no political interest can be higher than the interest of public health.
"It is impossible to hold a referendum in the coronavirus epidemic conditions, but on the other hand, we cannot wait for the Constitutional court crisis to be resolved when coronavirus epidemic is over", said Nikol Pashinyan.
