Today the Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan, referring to the
extension of the state of emergency in Armenia for 30 days, said that the Government has made changes in the procedure for admission of packages to penitentiaries.
The Minister also informed that no convict or detainee in penitentiaries has been infected with the coronavirus at the moment. But Badasyan does not rule out the possibility convicts to be infected. The Minister said a specially furnished building has already been prepared at the "Convicts Hospital" where it will be possible to provide effective treatment, control and isolation of convicts and detainees.
