Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of International Nurses' Day.
"International Nurses' Day is celebrated in a number of countries around the world today. May 12 has been chosen in honor of the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of the Nursing Service. Since 1974, the occasion has been used to congratulate people with this humanistic profession and once again send words of gratitude.
Dear nurses, Your mission is very important, especially these days, in hard and responsible work. Accept my warmest congratulations, know that you are appreciated.
It's hard to imagine doctors working without nurses, because it's you who works directly with patients throughout the treatment. And your dedication saves lives", the minister's message reads.
