Today, the Human Rights Defender (Ombudsman) of Armenia Arman Tatoyan presented the 2019 report in the parliament. In response to the question of Tatevik Hayrapetyan, a member of the "My Step" faction - how you cooperate with Artsakh?, Tatoyan noted that "the issues concerning Artsakh and our compatriots in Artsakh are one of the main directions" of his work.
"The jurisdiction of the Human Rights Defender has territorial limitations, but since we are talking about our compatriots, we are able to carry out work related to human rights in the conflict and post-conflict zone", Tatoyan said. He stressed - the principle of his work in this matter is not political.
