According to 2019 official statistical data, in 2018 level of poverty in Armenia decreased by 2.2 percentage points and reached 23.5 points. During the same period, the country's extreme poverty rate fell from 1.4 percent to 1 percent.
As of the third quarter of this year, the unemployment rate in Armenia decreased by 2.1 percentage points compared to the same period of the previous year. The employment rate increased by 2.5 points.
