Today the Deputy Chairman of the Urban Development Committee Armen Ghularyan, presenting the issue (envisaged by the 2020 budget) of approving the housing measures for the families left homeless by the earthquake, noted that the project was developed based on the Government's program.
The housing problem of 44 families from rural areas of Lori region has been solved at the expense of 460 million drams allocated in 2018. At the expense of savings from the allocated funds, solving of housing problem of 7 families is underway, the official said.
At the expense of 560 million drams allocated in 2019, the housing problem of 61 families has been solved by the same mechanism. "By the end of 2019, the problem of about 460 families still needed to be solved. In November 2019, 1 billion 290 million drams were allocated from the Government Reserve Fund, and this work will be completed soon. This project solves the housing problem of the other 229 families", said Ghularyan.
