According to preliminary information, a contest will be held for the buses of the new transport system in February 2020.
“The government and the donating company had reached an agreement two days ago. Relevant specialists are being involved to prepare the tender documents of the transport means procurement,” said the vice mayor.
Yerevan needs around 850 buses for the new network. They are expected to be supplied by phases, and the first batch is expected in Yerevan during 2020,” added Harutyunyan.
