Yerevan Mayor spokesperson Hakob Karapetyan wrote on
Facebook that the new transport network of Yerevan needs around 850 buses.
“They will be supplied by phases, and the first batch is expected in Yerevan during 2020.
Today, at the Council meeting, first vice mayor Hrachya Sargsyan said that the government and the donating company had reached an agreement two days ago. By preliminary information, a contest will be held for the buses of the new transport system in February 2020.
Currently, relevant specialists are being involved to prepare the tender documents of the transport means procurement,” wrote Karapetyan.
