Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Tigran Virabyan has presented the event schedule of New Year in his press conference.
The celebration will start at 22:00, December 31, at the Republic Square. Armenian artists will perform their best works. A song titled Yerevan-2020 will premiere there.
On 23:49, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will address the nation live from the Republic Square. Afterwards, Goran Bregovic and his orchestra will perform. The celebration will continue until dawn.
A modern fairy tale city with interesting approaches and solutions is being built at the Republic Square. The City Hall has ordered a skyway to reach the main Christmas tree. A Christmas and New Year market will open in the 2750th Anniversary Garden.
