Pan-European Federation for Cultural Heritage
Europa Nostra, founded to preserve the cultural heritage and environment of Europe, has published the shortlist of 14 monuments at risk of destruction in 2020.
Two samples of the cultural heritage of Armenia, Khoranashat Monastery of Tavush and traditional wine-making techinques, are included in the list.
Khoranashat Monastery was built in the first half of the XIII century and was one of the main educational, scientific, cultural and theological centers of medieval Armenia, while traditional wine vessels had a special manufacturing technique.
