Steven Zaillian, Hollywood screenwriter, director and producer of Armenian origin, has been nominated for prestigious Golden Globe award in the category of Best Adapted Screenplay.
Zaillian wrote the screenplay for famous director Martin Scorsese’s film “The Irishman”.
Zaillian was born in Fresno and graduated from San Francisco University.
In 1994, he received an Oscar for the screenplay “Schindler’s List”. He has been nominated for the Academy Awards three times for “Awakenings” (1990), “Gangs of New York” (2002) and “All the King’s Men” (2006).
