The Government approved the project to allocate a lot to the Austrian Hospital of Mother and Child in Gyumri. A new building of a maternity ward will be built in that territory with improved conditions.
Vice Healthcare Minister Lena Nanushyan mentioned that the ward was going to be built thanks to the memorandum of understanding signed between the Healthcare Minister and Swiss-Armenian philanthropist Vartan Sirmakes.
Nanushyan said that the construction works will begin right after the project works of the maternity ward in 2020.
Deputy PM Tigran Avinyan welcomed the project and mentioned that the government would continue to make efforts to guarantee high-quality health services.
