Following large-scale operative and investigative works of the General Department of Criminal Investigation of the RA Police, the representation of the Armenian Police in Russia, and relative departments of the Russian Internal Affairs Ministry, on November 21, Levon Sargsyan, known as Lyovik of the Mill, resident of Yerevan, born in 1968, wanted since October 1, 2018, was found and arrested in Zelenograd, Moscow Oblast, Russia, pursuant to clauses 1-2, part 3, art. 175 and part 2, art. 223 of the RA Criminal Code. His extradition issue is in discussion.
Sargsyan is charged with attack for the purpose of large robbery with an organized group and with participation in criminal arrangement. Considering that he had been away from Armenia for a long time, with current residence unknown, he was investigated internationally with detainment announced the measure to be used against him. An unnamed relative of Sargsyan has also been charged and detained.
