Head coach of the National Football Team of Armenia Abraham Khashamyan did not answer questions after the disastrous defeat (1-9) from Italy, instead issuing several statements.
“This complete fiasco reflects today’s state of Armenian football. When I assumed the leadership of the team, I realized that this was possible and I decided to take the blow upon myself.
If the management decides that this is my fault, I am ready to end everything tomorrow. If the management decides that I have to continue working, I must change everything because I believe that nothing here, even the mentality, is on the level the national team is supposed to be,” said Khashamyan.
