The National Assembly id discussion the adoption at the first reading of the bill “Draft Law to Make Amendment to the RA Labor Code”, authored by Prosperous Armenia deputies Gevorg Petrosyan, Kajik Gevorgyan, Arman Abovyan, Davit Manukyan and Arayik Aghababyan. Main speaker Gevorg Petrosyan says that employers use the loophole in the law and do not present their demands in writing and employees cannot prove what explanation has been demanded from them.
“Turns out disciplinary fines are applied without a written explanation. So, this project is aimed to protect the interests of workers,” said Petrsoyan.
