Armenian miners are demining village areas and fields in northern Syria, as reports RIA Novosti. Armenian specialists work in Ayaza.
Head of operative department of the Armenian Center for Humanitarian Demining Artur Ghabulyan says that the main objective is to demine the areas mined by terrorists during military activity.
“We are here by the request of civilians. After the works, the villagers will start their peaceful work,” said Ghabulyan and added that the center also has medics, who provide aid to the population.
“Our thanks to the boys who save us from mines and bombs. We have been waiting for miners for half a year and we have finally been heard,” said Syrian Madin Amaru Shakur and added that the people felt safer.
