Moldova’s parliament approved the new cabinet, led by former finance minister Ion Chicu, thus preventing new parliamentary election in the country. Socialist and Democrats, two large parties, supported the candidacy of the prime minister.
On November 12, Moldova's parliament passed a motion of no-confidence against the entire cabinet. Yesterday, Moldova's president Igor Dodon announced the candidacy of the former finance minister in the position of prime minister.
