At the meeting with the leaders of spiritual and secular institutions of the Armenian community of France, the Prime Minister touched upon the internal and foreign policy of Armenia, stressed the complete mutual understanding in the relations with Russia, even if many doubt it. He assured that Armenian-Georgian relations were on a high level and mentioned the positive dynamic in the relations with the US. The PM also answered questions from the representatives of the community and talked about the programs to overcome poverty in Armenia.
“Within the past one and a half year, you have all witnessed the pessimistic assessment of Armenian-Russian relations. We can state that today the authorities of Armenia and Russia have complete mutual understanding with respect to our relations, the present and the future of the strategy. I hope the public statements of Russia’s representatives make it evident.
We have never had serious issues in our relations with the European Union and don’t have it today. Allow me to insist that Armenian-Georgian relations have never been on a higher level. We have complete mutual understanding with Iran, have launched a strategic dialogue with the US, and all the signs point to a serious breakthrough in the relations with the US,” said the Prime Minister.
