Food Safety Service inspectors have found violations of food safety requirements at no. 1 kindergarten of Masis and Manushak kindergarten of Geghanist, Ararat Province.
The kitchen of the Geghanist kindergarten had unlabeled butter and cheese with partial label (without the Armenian language label). Their use has been stopped. The kitchen also had expired matsun and eggs, which were destroyed on site.
The inspectors found in Masis no. 1 kindergarten six 200g containers of sour cream, labeled “Soldier’s Ration: Not for Sale”, produced by “KHAK” LLC and supplied by “Ruz Marti” LLC. The Prosecutor’s Office was notified of the incident.
Vegetable and cream product, made with vegetable oil with sour cream technology, was also found in the institution, even if it is banned from kindergartens. The use of both the sour cream and the other product has been stopped.
“Ruz Marti” LLC, which supplies sour cream labeled “Soldier’s Ration: Not for Sale” is under investigation.
Supervision continues in Masis no. 1 kindergarten. Administrative fines will be applied.
