Strongest chess player of Armenia Levon Aronian has started well at the Bucharest tournament of Grand Chess Tour.
In the first tour of rapid games, Aronian beat Fabiano Caruana and then drew in two others. Aronian has earned 4 points of 6 possible, and he currently sits 2nd.
The participants of Bucharest Grand Chess Tour Rapid and Blitz are Fabiano Caruana, Wesley So, Shakhriyar Mamedyarov, Sergey Karjakin, Anish Giri, Viswanatan Anand, Le Liem and Anton Korobov.
The rapid tournament has nine tours. Every day, the grandmasters will play three games. The blitz tournament has 18 tours and will end on November 10.
