97,858,593 more cash register checks have been printed in Armenia during the ten months of 2019 compared to the previous year’s same period, with growth amounting 38,3%, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Facebook.
“The trade turnover recorded by these checks grew by 273 billion 887 million drams, which is 21,8% of the total trade turnover.
I thank all the business operators who are dutifully providing checks.
I thank all the citizens who are dutifully demanding checks.
It is also thanks to these people that we are being able to raise salaries of the military, firefighters, and teachers and raise pensions, provide high-quality food for our troops and to pave hundreds of kilometers of roads.
We receive many alerts that in many places the “malicious practice” of not printing the cash register printouts continues. I would like to remind that those who are not printing cash register checks and those who are not demanding cash register checks are participants to a process which factually steals the financial resources envisaged for improving the state of troops, teachers and pensioners,” wrote the PM.
