Yerevan Zoo reports the risk of unsterilized and dangerous dog pack on the territory of Yerevan, which is an issue of public safety. The dogs, who hunted zoo animals, are dangerous for both animals and people. They have attacked zoo animals for the second time. The management of the Zoo informs: “Early in the morning of November 1, around 06:00, a street dog pack penetrated the territory of the Zoo for the second time. The pack attacked at three mouflons (two male, one female) and mauled them to death. The dogs were not caught. We have contacted the police to rule out the human factor which could’ve led to the dogs entering the zoo territory.”
On October 31, the pack killed kangaroos.
