Former employees of Unaoil oil and gas company Cyrus and Saman Ahsani have been paying bribes to the officials of Azerbaijan and a number of other countries for years. Citing the U.S. Department of Justice,
Reuters writes that Ahsani brothers have pleaded guilty.
The first trial of the British citizens will take place on 20 April, 2020. Both are charged with bribing foreign government officials.
Steven Hunter, a British resident and an employee of the same company, also pleaded guilty in August to the same crime.
