RA Territorial Management and Infrastructure Minister Suren Papikyan was in Vayots Dzor Province today on a working visit to present the newly appointed Governor, Ararat Gevorgyan, to the administration.
Presenting Grigoryan, the Minister stressed that the latter has proved himself a hard-working and dedicated person and has shown by his experience in the legal sector that he can lead the Province.
“I am sure that in the future we will have new successes together. I want to congratulate Mr. Grigoryan on this responsible and important mission because in this phase we have the issue to bring to life the economic revolution and to overcome numerous objective and subjective obstacles on that way, so this is an important and honorable mission,” said the Minister.
He also thanked former Governor Trdat Sargsyan for his significant contribution to the life of the Province during his one-year tenure and mentioned that the decision of the former is born from the strong sense of responsibility of a politician in New Armenia.
Congratulating and wishing success to the newly appointed Governor, Sargsyan expressed his gratitude to the Minister for his assessment and trust, which made it possible to solve many issues in the Province and to lay foundation for the solution of others.
New Governor Grigoryan in his turn thanked the Prime Minister and the Government of Armenia for trusting him with the governance of the Province. “I will be consistently observing the implementation of all the programs of the Government in proper quality and terms. I am hopeful that we will have progress in the result of united work. My entire activity will be aimed to it,” said Grigoryan in his speech to his colleagues.
