Artsakh Foreign Minister Masis Mayilyan attended the voting of the resolution to recognize the Armenian Genocide at the House of Representatives and afterwards made a post in Facebook, mentioning that the resolution will contribute to peace and stability in the region.
“Today I attended the discussion of H.R. 296 to recognize the Armenian Genocide at the House of Representatives.
After the voting, I had the opportunity to express my gratitude to the co-authors of the resolution, Frank Pallone and Anna Eshoo, as well as to congratulate the representatives of the Armenian community.
The passing of the resolution has not just moral but practical meaning: it will contribute to the establishment of peace and stability in our region,” wrote the Minister.
