Vice Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Armen Simonyan received Artyom Petrosyan, the Chair of the Association of the Official Representatives of Automanufacturers. The newly founded Association, which unites the Armenian representatives of famous car brands, is ready to collaborate with the state institutions of the field to regulate the vehicle market in Armenia. Petrosyan stressed the importance of institutional coordination of the sector by the state.
Vice Minister Simonyan also highlighted the efficiency of problem solving by cooperation of public and private sector.
Issues related to the technical requirements, procedures and field coordination established for vehicles by the new EAEU regulation from January, 2020 were discussed at the meeting.
The parties touched upon the formation of car market conforming to international standards and the application of modern technologies.
They reached an agreement to study the issues arisen and to find solutions.
