The lump-sum benefit paid for child’s birth in Armenia will increase from July 1, 2020. The acting law defines 50.000 and 150.000 for the first and second child respectively. “We will increase the benefit for the care of a child up to two-years old by 25.000 AMD instead of today’s 18.000 AMD,” said Nikol Pashinyan during the budget discussions at the National Assembly. The lump-sum benefit for the child’s birth will reach 300.000 AMD.
The Prime Minister reminded that the salary of teachers had increased, the salary of defense institutions has increased by 10% of average salary, the salary of foresters by 20.000 AMD.
