On October 21, a measles case was confirmed by laboratory. The patient had arrived on October 6 from Russia and had referred to hospital on October 21.
The measles situation is stable in Armenia. However, seven cases have been confirmed since the beginning of the year, brought from Ukraine, Georgia and Russia.
Vaccinations are the most safe and efficient means against the disease. They save millions of lives every year.
The Health Ministry urges those, who have not received at least two vaccinations, to visit their local clinic.
