This week, the longest-running public service announcement icon Smokey Bear arrives in Armenia to continue his mission of raising awareness of human-caused wildfires.
Since 1944, Smokey Bear has been a part of a wildfire prevention campaign. He has met thousands of children, educating them on fire prevention. He also met presidents and stars, including John Kennedy and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Smokey Bear will meet children and officials in Armenia and will teach how to love and protect the wildlife and forests.
