The anniversary celebrations of the Saint Hakob Church of Switzerland began with the Holy Mass served by the Catholicos of All Armenians.
The only Armenian Church of Switzerland, unlike other churches, has not played a uniting role in the community, as the Armenian communities of Geneva, Zurich and Bern have their own centers. The visit of the Catholicos to Geneva may have played a unifying role in the Armenian community.
