SRC Chair Davit Ananyan announced that the expenses for vehicle customs office in Gyumri are justified.
“We are not building a customs office but a service center. Another one will be built in Sisian to provide services to southern Armenia. They are not customs offices but service centers of external economic activity,” said Ananyan.
The SRC Chair also said that the activity will be regulated by the principle of single window, and there will be no Araratyan Customs Office in Yerevan.
“Our objectives are long-term. We want to implement a regional development program. Yerevan is unloaded and the business goes to north and south,” said Ananyan.
