The National Security Committee has discovered a new case of demanding and receiving a bribe. In the period from August to September, the Chair of one of the Medical-Social Exam Commissions of the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs received large amounts of money from around twenty citizens for granting on reconfirming disability status.
The unnamed official was arrested at the moment of receiving the bribe and has confessed. The potential involvement of other people in the corruption chain will be investigated.
