Thomas Cook, the largest British travel group, has collapsed. Over 600.000 people are stranded in various countries, needing the help of the British government and insurance companies to return. UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has refused to bail out the company.
“I have questions for one about whether it’s right that the directors, or whoever, the board, should pay themselves large sums when businesses can go down the tubes like that,” said the PM.
