Armenia’s Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan confirmed he had had a meeting with the ICRC Armenia representatives, who officially delivered the Azerbaijani proposal to exchange two Armenian captives in Azerbaijan with two imprisoned Azerbaijani convicts in Artsakh.
“There are several issues of discussion which I cannot reveal. Certain information requires additional clarification. We will respond when we will receive this clarified information from Azerbaijan,” Tonoyan said.
He didn’t rule out the possibility of the exchange, simultaneously stressing that this is an issue of Artsakh’s sovereign decision.
