The Government approved the project to open an Armenian embassy in Israel. According to Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, the necessity to have a diplomatic mission in Israel is due to the important geopolitical role of Israel in Near East and the country’s politics have direct impact on the reformulation and stability of the region. The offer to open an Armenian embassy in Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia was also approved.
