Bashar al-Assad received Aram I in Damascus.
Syria will support the members of the Armenian community, who left the country during the war, to return and to improve their homes and country. This was the message of the Syrian president during the meeting with the Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia Aram I. At the presidential palace of Damascus, the Catholicos discussed the issues of Syrian-Armenians during his meeting with Bashar al-Assad.
