Foreigners are more interested in ancient Armenian manuscripts. Only in 2018, the Research Institute of Ancient Manuscripts after Mesrop Mashtots had 113.000 visitors, 4000 more than the previous year. However, next to the achievements, there are also problems, which were presented by the director of the Matenadaran.
