On April 9, Georgia celebrates the Day of National Unity and remembers the victims of April 9 tragedy, when the Soviet army dispersed the peaceful protest.
The Armenian community of Georgia supports the Georgians on the days of happiness and tragedy. Thirty years after the tragedy of April 9, the Armenians of Georgia paid their respect to the memory of the peaceful protesters, who died in the result of the actions of the Soviet Army.
