The 19th Conference of the Artists Union was tense. Karen Aghamyan, who has been leading the organization for 20 years, was once again nominated. His rivals were Khachik Abrahamyan and Suren Safaryan. After counting the votes, it was announced that Suren Safaryan will be the president of the Artists Union.
