The banknotes of the previous generation will exit the circulation through wear and tear.
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Armenian Currency, the banknotes of the third generation will enter circulation starting November 25. Great Armenians are depicted on the banknotes with nominal price from 1000 to 50.000. The banknotes of the new generation, equipped with the best current protection, will serve a few times longer. The banknotes of the previous generation will exit the circulation through wear and tear.
