From June 14 to July 15, the opening and closing ceremonies of the competition and all the football matches will be on the First Channel. The viewers will be able to follow the matches live on the First.
On June 14, sporting mood will be established on the First at 18:00 with the special edition of “Sport with Giloyan”, which will host Khoren Hovhannisyan, the author of a goal in the final stage of the 1982 World Cup, and big football fan, actor Mkrtich Arzumanyan.
At 18:30, live from Luzhniki Stadium, you can watch the opening ceremony of the World Cup with the commentary of the First Channel’s sport commentator Vahan Gharibyan. After the opening ceremony, the match between Russia and Saudi Arabia will take place in the same stadium. You can watch it with the commentary of Vahan Gharibyn and Karen Giloyan.
