The Church has issued an official statement on the events.
During the politically complex days in April and May, when Armenians in the diaspora took to the streets to support Armenia’s internal agenda, sixty Armenians were detained from the yard of the Armenian church in Moscow. Twenty-four of them are charged with organizing unlicensed demonstration.
