The foundation will be renamed to Business Armenia to make it understandable to foreign investors.
Last year, the Development Foundation of Armenia helped local companies to sign export contracts of five billion seven hundred million AMD in international EXPOs. The institution presented the impressive result to the Prime Minister. At the discussion, it was decided to rename the Foundation to Business Armenia to make it understandable to foreign investors.
“The name changes, the work and the goal remain the same,” said Karen Karapetyan.
The goal is to promote Armenia in foreign markets and to find new investors. From tourism to agriculture, in 2017 the institution took 29 different programs abroad, bringing 18 million USD in investments to Armenia.
They have decided to surpass last year’s index of 24 USD for 1 USD spent.
