A play dedicated to the Vardanants War was staged in Washington on Saint Vardanants Day. The Battle of Avarayr, its background and the significance for the Armenian history was presented in Saint Mariam Church.
According to one of the actors, if Armenia adopted Zoroastrianism 16 centuries ago, maybe there would be no Christian state in Caucasus today. Thus, the results of Vardan’s fight are tangible 1600 years later not only for us, but the whole Christian world.
