Bruno Mars won in 7 categories – Album of the Year, Record of the year (24K Magic), Song of the Year (That’s What I Like), Best R&B Album, Best R&B Song, Best R&B Performance, Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical. Rapper JAY-Z was nominated in 8 categories, but did not win any. Despacito that has record number of views in YouTube also remained without a prize.
American rapper Kendrick Lamar won 4 Grammies in the categories Best Rap Album (Damn), Best Rap/Sung Performance (Loyalty), Best Music Video (HUMBLE.), Best Rap Song (HUMBLE.).
Foo Fighters won in the category Best Rock Song with their song Run. Leonard Cohen’s You Want It Darker was announced Best Rock Performance.
Ed Sheeran won the category Best Pop Solo Performance with the song Shape of you. His album Divide was announced Best Pop Vocal Album.
