From November 17 to November 18, Empowering Regions through High-Tech conference will be held in Gyumri for the first time.
From November 17 to November 18, Empowering Regions through High-Tech two-day forum will be held in Gyumri for the first time. It will be organized by Enterprise Incubator Foundation and Gyumri Technology Center with the support of RA Government, Shirak Regional Administration, Fund for Armenian Relief and “Support to SME Development in Armenia” project, co-funded by the European Union and German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and realized by GIZ.
The beneficiaries of the conference are 150 young people from all the regions of RA, who are interested in technological education, engineering, programming and innovation sector.
The aim of the forum is to encourage large-scale decentralization of IT and high-tech from Yerevan to regions, preparation of professionals in high-tech sector, development and enlargement of job market in the regions, creation of attractive conditions for international and local investment by discussing the development of small cities in partner countries, development of active steps, presenting the successful experience of Shirak region to the leaders of the regions and young people interested in the sector, as well as to develop possibilities of electronic society, encouraging the use of modern technologies in all the social sectors, formulating culture and ideology in front of the realization of digital Armenia and electronic society.
The main informational partner of the forum is the Public TV Company of Armenia. Forum partners are Balasanyan Family Foundation, Deem Communications, Digital Pomegranate, Time Production and staff.am
